Rachel Williams

Attorney Rachel Williams has spent her entire career representing individuals accused of criminal wrongdoing. After graduating from the University of Georgia with a Batchelor’s degree in psychology, Rachel attended Mercer University School of Law graduating in 2007.

Rachel began her criminal defense career in the Walton County Public Defender's Office, and in 2009 started working at the Western Circuit Public Defender's Office in Athens. During her long tenure as a senior public defender in that office, Rachel represented clients accused of charges ranging from traffic offenses to DUI, Robbery, Rape, Murder, and nearly everything in between. She gained positive resolutions and dismissals for countless clients, and won many not-guilty verdicts at trial for clients charged with murder, vehicular homicide, rape, trafficking drugs, armed robbery, burglary, and more.

Rachel also has extensive experience working with clients who experience all forms of mental health issues, including psychiatric disorders and addiction.

When she's not passionately advocating for her clients in and out of court, Rachel enjoys spending time with her 3 children, watching Georgia football, hiking and exploring the outdoors.
